Three kinds of Moleskines
This year I have been drawing and painting
in tiny and not so tiny books called Moleskines. At first I used
the sketch books with a thick, buff colored paper that takes pencil
and ink well but not watercolor. Adding acrylic flow improver helps
with the watercolor sticking to the paper. The large size sketch
book paper is almost yellow in color. Finally I tried the watercolor
moleskine. I love bright white paper but I don't think I will use
the "tear out" feature. The accordion sketchbook paper
has a slightly different feel but that may just be the batch.
