Drawing on the road poses it’s own problems. Bumpy roads, fast moving cars and not much time draw are some of them. I use pencil for sketching and finish with watercolor when I get home using the color notes written in pencil.
Otters are floating on sea weed close to shore. I use a spotting scope to see their whiskers and feet.
