These are my conte and charcoal pencils. I keep them in a metal box with little padding of felt to keep them from rattling around. I sharpen my pencils with a snap-off knife and 220 sand paper. Cutting back the wood till I have a decent length to shape into a fine point. I have a few pencil extenders for little ends and a protector for the tips.
